“S’all good, man!” That was the word from AMC who today announced that Better Call Saul season 4 will premiere next year with what’s certain to be another stonking 10-episode season.
It may have a smaller budget, smaller supporting cast and be far lower octane than Breaking Bad, but Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould surprised many by creating a smaller but equally compelling show. As TV spin-offs go, it may be the best ever.
If you’ve been following Better Call Saul, you’ll know that this isn’t exactly news because it would have been near-on impossible not to renew after that season three cliffhanger!
Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios said:
“Supporting artists we respect and admire; delivering truly outstanding character development and nuanced dramatic twists and turns; continuing a legacy of bold creative choices; loving writing that is the best in the business: Truly, ‘S’all good, man. Congratulations to Vince, Peter, Bob and everyone involved with ‘Better Call Saul.’ Bring on season four!”
AMC will summon Better Call Saul season four as a witness sometime in 2018.
