Over two seasons, Fear the Walking Dead morphed from laughable soap-opera about characters that you wouldn’t piss on if they were on fire to more than worthy little sister spin-off series. But Season Three seems to have upped the stakes.

Not that stakes will do you any good against zombies. That’s vampires.

Season Three premieres with an episode entitled “Eye of the Beholder” and with it, looks to usher Fear The Walking Dead into a new, higher-octane, lower-yawn-inducing action series.

Adam Bernstein, who also directed this week’s Better Call Saul is behind the camera, while co-creator and Sons of Anarchy alum Dave Erickson writes Madison (the ever-beautiful and über-talented Kim Dickens) Travis (Cliff Curtis) Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) into next week’s sticky situations.

Fear The Walking Dead Season Three begins with a feature-length episode next Sunday night, 4th June.
